Why brows can be left yellow from laser.
Laser does not treat every colour equally. It clears some tones readily and struggles with others — and yellow is the one it struggles with most. So as a course of laser lifts the colours it can shift, the yellow underneath is what stays. Nothing has gone wrong; the laser has simply done all it can do.
- ✓ Brows left yellow or brassy after a course of laser
- ✓ A gold or straw tone that shows most in daylight
- ✓ Laser sessions that stopped making a difference
- ✓ Being told laser has taken it as far as it can
- ✓ Yellow that makeup covers but never quite hides
- ✓ Brows you find yourself filling in to disguise
Helen's approach
Where laser stops, this begins.
Yellow Brow Rescue uses Botched Ink® saline — a non-laser method that lifts pigment from the skin rather than shattering it. Because it does not rely on colour to work, it reaches the yellow that laser leaves behind. Helen will tell you honestly how much of it can be lifted, and how many sessions that is likely to take.
Lifting the yellow
Saline draws the remaining pigment up and out of the skin over a course of sessions, spaced to let the skin recover properly in between. It is a gradual process, and Helen would rather take it slowly than push your skin harder than it should be pushed.
Rebuilding the brow
Once the colour is settled and balanced, Helen redesigns soft, natural brows using her Naturally Defined Method™ — shape and definition planned around your face, not the old work you came in with.
Some cases are best started with laser or saline removal to lighten heavy or very dark pigment first — see laser & removal. Helen will always recommend the right combination for you.
What to expect
Patient, considered, and honest.
01
An honest assessment
Helen looks closely at the yellow that’s showing and how deep it sits, and tells you realistically how much of it can be lifted.
02
A staged plan
Lifting is done over more than one session, spaced to let the skin settle properly between each one.
03
Natural brows again
The yellow lifted, and a soft, natural brow you’re happy to be seen in.
Investment
Priced at your consultation.
No two corrections are the same — the colour showing, how deep the old pigment sits, and how many sessions it needs all vary. Helen gives you a clear, honest price once she has seen your brows in person.
Consultations are always free.
